Stage three Esophageal Cancer

Hi guys, my name is Maddie De Soto. I’m starting this fundraiser for my father, Aaron De Soto.

As most of you know, last year August 12, 2022 - our house caught on fire and we lost everything including several of our sweet pets. As devastating and as difficult as that was, things snowballed for us.

In January of 2023, my dad’s job of 22 years laid him off. Causing him to lose his salary and his healthcare, and start up “Aaron’s Handyman Service,” helping people locally with building and fixing things throughout people’s homes all throughout Atlanta.

Well in June 2023, we found out that my dad has stage three esophageal cancer. This is creating a huge strain for our family. He’s having to undergo chemo and radiation 5-6x weekly, and will have surgery causing him to be in the hospital for ten days. Following the surgery, he will still have to go into the hospital for chemotherapy a year post surgery. Due to this and my father not having a salary job, he will not be able to work these next couple of months as he heals from chemo and surgery and we need your help.
