STAGGA_UK Studio fund, for his boys and Nina
Donation protected
RIP to my brother, Rob Stagg, aka STAGGA, aka Rob Staggamuffin who sadly passed away suddenly and unexpectedly just before Christmas. He leaves two beautiful boys, and their beloved mother, Nina.
The whole family, Loki and Blue, Nina, his mum and dad, brothers and sister are all devastated by this loss, and are honestly still struggling to come to terms with the untimely death of, as Nina puts it, 'a heart too big for this world'.
Many who knew Rob, from our childhood friends, to those who knew him through his role at the heart of the Cardiff music scene know what a Cardiff Legend he truly was. The comments from the Cardiff, Welsh, and Global music community will continue to be a great help to the family as they try to come to terms with the loss. The comments that have struck me the most are not those about his music (which tragically was never fully recognised), but the musical influence he had on them, and more importantly on their lives. The humility he showed towards his own talent, and the encouragement he gave to those around him of theirs is his true legacy.
As one musician put it 'Cardiff has lost an incredible human, friend, and artist'.
The aim of this fund is simple, to ensure that Rob's studio, and Nina's workshop are retained for Nina and the boys, and to ensure that the family are not forced to simply pack everything up. This seems unimaginable. Rob and Nina put their heart and soul into setting this studio up. The amazing community based around the FatFridge studio and label must be saved, at least until Nina and the family can come to a more permanent solution.
To this end, we are looking for donations to help pay the Studio and Workshop rent, and to ensure Nina and the boys do not have to deal with such practicalities until they are ready.
Rob's family will be in total control of all money kindly given, and are dedicated to keeping Rob's legacy alive, and to protect his boys and Nina from any financial worries at this most terrible of times.
The whole family thank you dearly for any and all contributions kindly given.
And as STAGGA's last track ever to be released states: Rip.
