Stags charity fundraising for cancer

As part of our 150th year anniversary in 2024, Stags will be fundraising for four local charities who are located within, and help those throughout, the South West. Ducks & Drakes in Dorset, SURE in Somerset, FORCE in Devon and the Tanya’s Courage Trust in Cornwall, all support cancer patients and their families throughout our region.

Tanya’s Courage Trust supports young people fighting cancer, or affected by cancer, throughout Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly and Devon by the provision of grants which help towards relieving their physical or financial needs.

FORCE Cancer Charity provides free support and information to anyone affected by cancer at local community hospitals and their centre in Exeter.

SURE is an independent local charity that supports the NHS in Taunton, helping people across Somerset get access to the best possible cancer diagnosis and treatment, without having to travel miles to Bristol.

Ducks and Drakes Cancer Trust was founded to help save lives and promote well-being by raising awareness of cancer (specifically Bowel Cancer) in young people aged 18 to 30 supporting patients, and their families, through the provision of specialist medical equipment and financial aid.
