Stained Glass Classes for High School Students
Donation protected
Hi, there. My name is Michael Rievley, and I am a retired stained glass artisan who owns a small teaching studio in North Carolina. Recently, I was approached by two former students who direct a local non-profit agency program, Heartstrings Children's Hope Alliance Heartstrings Program, that offers art and music therapy for children of all ages.
All donated funds will be used for glass, lead, zinc, and the tools for 10 high school students. I will be heading up a group of volunteer instructors from my studio, Wabi-Sabi Workshops.
If you understand how art connects, and how it especially provides comfort for the creator, these classes can be a game changer for some of these kids. Any consideration you give this to most worthy cause will be greatly appreciated.
