Stalybridge Canal Clean up

Hi Everybody 

Following recent conversations within our group, I have created this go fund me page to build funds to support planting along the embankment from Huddersfield road past Tesco’s and into the square.

The beds are lifeless and haven’t been touched or cared for in a very long time, it would be great to plant native species to increase biodiversity and brighten up the tow path for us locals and the many visitors we get on bikes, walkers, families, fishermen etc!

What we have all achieved over the past 8 weeks is amazing, and it’s made a real difference, any contribution will help and don’t worry if this isn’t your thing just keep picking ☺️
