Stampede to the Stadium for FeedMore WNY

Every year, I run a 17 miles route from North Buffalo to Highmark Stadium for the Buffalo Bills home opener, as a celebration of one of the most fun, exciting days of the year. The Buffalo Bills are a staple of the community, and it's a time for the city to come together and experience a party like no other.

This year is a little different. This year, the city of Buffalo was shaken by a horrific incident that took place on May 14th at Tops when 10 people were fatally shot in a heinous ac. In one of our city's darkest hours, community organizations were quick to respond to help the families of the victims. It was, and still is, an unthinkable event that would occur in Buffalo, but the City of Good Neighbors is here to support the family and friends of those who lost their lives in this horrific incident.

One of those organizations is FeedMore WNY. They partnered with Resource Council of WNY to distribute food donations to community members affected by the mass shooting. With a non-profit organization like that, it was an easy decision who I would like to fundraise for this year.
