Stan ‘the man’ Barlow funeral

As most of you will be aware my good friend Darryl Barlow, lost his dad Stan recently after a short battle with prostate and liver cancer.

Anyone who knows Stan and Darryl, they were as close as any son and father could be so naturally Darryl was grief stricken when he found out on the 15th November that his dads cancer was terminal and he didn’t have long to live and he was going to lose his best friend. Although Stan went down hill really quickly he kept fighting to the end and passed away peacefully on the 3rd December.

Unfortunately, Stan never had a funeral plan nor has there been any money left by Stan to help Darryl pay for the funeral.

As most of you will know, Darryl doesn’t have any immediate family, so finding the money to put his beloved dad to rest, are firmly on his shoulders and his only.

Darryl was determined to somehow find the money on his own, however his wages will only stretch so far, he has conceded that he may struggle without help.

At this difficult time, Lets try get the funds together to help with the funeral costs and give Stan the send off he deserves and one less thing for Darryl to deal with or worry about.

No matter how small or large, if you can afford to give anything, every penny will be gratefully received.

The funeral has been arranged for Monday 9th January 2022 at Cannock Chase Crem, anyone who knew Stan is more than welcome to celebrate his life and remember the legend that he was.
