Stand Against Violence: Support Leroy Ramos' Family

Leroy Ramos wasn’t just a bus driver; he was a loving husband, a loving father, but overall, he was a kind-hearted person who came from humble beginnings, experienced all types of adversity at such a young age, and still prevailed. He was the type of man that would show up for anyone and everyone, even if he didn’t know them. Just one call or encounter, and he would sacrifice his last to help! A man who valued life itself; just the little things in life made him feel whole.
This tragic incident happened over a fare dispute that resulted in us losing a life that was worth so much more than $2.50! Our family is enduring this senseless act of violence firsthand and mourns the loss of a soul that was precious and so priceless to us, 3 days into the new year.
We allowed the stages of grief to sink in, and we are raging for a change, not for violence! Every loss isn’t a loss; it is a lesson, an experience that we can gain something from, and the time is now. If you can, we would appreciate the support to make a change for our frontline workers and fallen workers who couldn’t make it home after serving the public!
Angel Number 555 signifies significant change, and that is what we are asking for from the community! This isn’t the first act of gun violence or any kind of violence within the public! As a community (all communities), we need to make a change, not just in Atlanta but all over the United States! We are in a time where all we can do is stand together!
