Stand by a Brave Family Battling Hardships

I'm a single mom of two amazing kids, and right now, I'm terrified of losing our home. At the end of January, my kids' dad attacked my daughter with a knife while in his care. My sweet 9-year-old daughter was brave and smart, so she told her teacher the following day and confided that her dad abused both her and my son constantly when they stayed at his house. My son is 14 and severely autistic, so it's even harder for him.

Because of dealing with so much emotionally with my kids, who are still terrified of their dad, and the loss of the childcare my ex was providing while I worked, I haven't been able to work as many hours, which has caused me to fall behind in my rent since February. I am so embarrassed to have to ask for help from strangers, I have never wanted to be a burden to anyone, but I'm desperate and don't know what else to do. I have gone to the welfare office and the eviction diversion program, but neither has been able to help since I don't qualify. I have contacted dozens of charities in the area, and all are out of funds for the moment.

Please help with anything you can. I'm absolutely desperate since my eviction court date is on April 2, and I need to have the full amount then. I thank you in advance for any help, and may the universe return it back to you in blessings!
