Stand by Adela in Her Time of Need

Hi everyone,

My name is Adela, I am 51 years old (yes, old lol) and I am asking for your help. This is one of the hardest things I’ve been through and it will change my life forever. You see, I am stage 3 kidney failure and now I have to have surgery. I am currently experiencing financial hardship and, being 100% honest, homelessness. I have been a single mom until 4 years ago, hardworking and always trying to do things the right way, teaching my daughters (twins) to always do right even when no one is watching. I never thought at this stage in my life I would be going through this, that is until I got my diagnosis and my life took a turn. Here I am, in need of help from strangers and depending on their kindness.

This surgery will allow me to get a better quality of life. It will allow me to properly eat and not have to worry about ulcers or anything else like that.

I have always believed in paying it forward and being kind to anyone in need, and now here I am in need of that same help that I have given so many times.

I want to thank you for taking the time to listen to part of my story.

Being a domestic violence survivor has taught me to endure sometimes in silence, but I cannot do that this time. So I am asking you for help if possible.
