Hello, my name is Angela! I started this GoFundMe because I am experiencing financial hardship like many others are at this time. My landlord is threatening to evict me due to late rental payment. If not paid today, I have three days to vacate and then the formal eviction process starts.

I know this is last minute; I have not used this platform to ask for help earlier because, honestly, it did not cross my mind until now.

My partner, and main income, has been incarcerated since 6/21 and I do not know when he will be released.

I gave all of me and everything I have to someone I thought I could trust and would not just speak promises but show me, by his actions, those words were true. Yes, at times they were, but never when they needed to be the most.

Even though incarcerated, he is getting three meals a day and knows where he is sleeping. I have been left to deal with everything and it’s been extremely difficult. The amount of depression, stress, pressure, and anxiety I battle is overwhelming.

My parents have been a huge, huge, huge help but cannot be any longer. And my landlord is no longer willing to work with me.

And, I had to recently leave the job I just started because I had to sell my car to pay already owed past due rent.

I have reached out to various agencies and churches already seeking help but haven't had any luck.

I continue to apply for jobs. I understand the speed bump caused without a vehicle, but I can make it over that obstacle when it comes.

Everything has a domino effect; the first step is help with rent which would allow me to focus more on not just employment, but getting my life on track one day at a time.

If evicted, my two cats and I will be on the street with only bare bones necessities I can carry on my back. I will lose everything else.
