Stand by Doug and Kathy: A Call for Help
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
I am reaching out to you today to share the story of our beloved Doug, and our desperate need for support during this incredibly challenging time. On December 26th, Doug suffered a heart attack that changed his life in an instant. Despite the heroic efforts of the medical team and other amazing citizens, which included 90 minutes of CPR, Doug has been hospitalized ever since and is now facing serious challenges due to some brain damage.
Doug has always been a pillar of strength for his family and friends. He’s the first one to lend a helping hand, share a kind word, or offer support when someone is in need. Now, it’s our turn to be there for him as he navigates this long and arduous recovery journey.
Doug is being transferred to a long-term care facility, where he will continue to receive the treatment and support necessary for his recovery. As of now, he has not regained consciousness, and the doctors are unsure when he might wake up or how long this process will take. What we do know is that Doug will likely never be able to return to work in his field again, leaving us uncertain about his financial future. His wife, Kathy is doing everything she can to keep the household running and cover the mounting bills during this difficult time. However, the financial burden is overwhelming, and they urgently need your help.
We are asking for donations to help alleviate some of the costs associated with Doug’s care, as well as to ensure that Kathy can keep their home while we wait for him to wake up and start the long process of recovery. Every dollar makes a difference, and your generosity will not only support Doug’s medical expenses but also provide us with much-needed peace of mind during this uncertain time.
Please keep Doug in your prayers, as we believe that every bit of positive energy and love will help him on his journey to recovery. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any support you are able to provide, whether it be through donations, sharing our story, or simply sending your thoughts and prayers.
