Stand By Doug: Surgery and Recovery Ahead
Donation protected
Many of you have witnessed the difficult journey my husband has faced with his health over the past four years. His battles with rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, and severe inflammation have taken a significant toll on him. Since October, he has been unable to work and has undergone multiple surgeries and procedures to address the complications caused by his condition.
Now, we are approaching another major surgery: he is scheduled to have two discs in his neck removed and replaced with titanium ones on April 16. However, we are facing a significant challenge. The payment of $1,600 for the doctor is due by April 1, and, as you can imagine, we’re at a loss for how to cover this expense given his inability to work for so long.
As a friend wisely reminded me, sometimes we just need to let go and let God. If you feel moved to help in any way, I would be truly grateful for your support in ensuring Doug can proceed with this crucial surgery. Thank you for considering our situation. I am thankful to have such amazing friends in our corner.
