How Can Medical Bills Be So Overwhelming?

My dear friend has battled breast cancer and won!

Now, unfortunately, she has a mass that has developed along her jaw. The doctor told her she needs to have it removed.

These funds will be used to offset the large medical expenses associated with the surgery and followup care.

It is honestly just overwhelming at a time when her focus needs to be on her health.

She is someone who gives so much to others. She volunteers at the local cancer survivor center offering support to those on their own healing journeys. She also collects and donates clothing to people rebuilding their lives struggling with homelessness, including mothers as they work to create a fresh start for their children. And in her job, she provides physical assistance and care for elderly patients who depend on her.

Life can feel overwhelming. If each of us does just a little, it helps a whole lot. Together we can help lift this financial burden so she can focus on this next chapter of her health.
