As we all know, musicians are special people. They speak a language that most of us only dream of speaking. KC Cartwright was one of those special people! As the longtime drummer for Luther Rada (Luther & The Healers), KC was a big part of countless hours of joy brought to the music-loving masses in and around H-Town. Sadly, he passed away this morning (3/1/25) after brief Home Hospice care. His wife, Christine, now faces the financial challenges associated with KC's arrangements. If you have enjoyed live music around Houston, you have probably felt KC pounding the skins as a key member of the band's rhythm section. Now is the time to give a little back to The Cartwrights as they fight to manage the financial struggles they have encountered.
