Let’s Help As Max Battles Cancer

In February, Max Musumeci (Riley) was diagnosed with Monomorphic PTLD (Post-Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disorder), which is a rare and, in Max's case, aggressive cancer. This diagnosis brought an extended hospital stay, followed by outpatient treatment 1-2 days a week.

A Pet Scan that was performed last week showed that the initial cancer spot did not decrease in size. It also showed a few new areas of cancer. Because of this, a more aggressive treatment plan is being put in place. This will require more extended hospital stays.

The family could use financial assistance. Not only are medical bills starting to accrue, but there is a lot of back and forth for the family to the hospital. Between parking, tolls, and meals away from home, these trips are costly. We are hoping to raise funds to help offset these expenses, and alleviate any extra worry and stress for Jen and Sean.
