We are asking for your help & PLEASE share our story!❤️
Thank you!!!!
Shelly was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in Feb. She started chemo right away, had a major 10.5 hr surgery in April, & is currently back in the hospital with complications from the medications & surgery.
This entire time, Shelly has continued to work as much as she can to provide for her family. (Shelly is the sole provider for their family of 8.) She unfortunately has now run out of sick time, vacation time/pay, and savings. The LAST thing she wants is to ask for help but the bills keep coming & the money isn’t. Even with insurance, the medication costs alone are astronomical; their monthly copay is $5,000. One of her meds costs $19,000 a month; that’s not a typo. To make matters worse, Shelly will soon be out of a job due to her company filing bankruptcy, unable to work, & without that insurance.
We all know that so many people are struggling during this time, but what are friends for if we can’t help each other? I completely understand if you don’t have the funds, but could you please share my friend’s story? She has given so much to children, being a NICU nurse initially, then moving up the nursing ladder helping adults. She’s that nurse that literally took her work home. They adopted 5 of their 6 children from various NICU/PICUs. I’d love to see life give back to them.
Thank you with all my heart for reading, sharing, & donating!
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all of you!!
