GOAL MET!! Stand by Sophie: Urgent MRI Required

If you are reading this you probably know my story. You also know I am setting aside my very independent pride to ask for help. But my love for my dog and wanting to prevent needless suffering has me asking for help.

At 845(ish)pm I got up to lock the door for the night and heard a big cry from the living room. Sophie was limping on her front leg, I also noticed her rear leg having issues and not walking right. I assumed she sprained something so I have her some pain meds and we went to bed. She was very restless all night and by 5am she couldn't even stand so we rushed to Blue Pearl. We were immediately referred to Milwaukee as the vet here was just entering rounds. Thank goodness we have a wonderful Auntie that's a vet and she agreed to day admit Sophie.

Based on her exams it is a cervical spine issue. We just do not know what extent the damage is, it could be a blood clot or it could be a bulging disc. Sadly our only way to know for sure is an MRI in Milwaukee. Doing the MRI will give me the answers I need to either be at peace in letting her go or to keep fighting with our medication protocol, PT at home and strict rest.

This is a huge ask and I know times are tough for so many but I truly appreciate all those that have offered to help.
