Stand by Teddi in Her Time of Need

Most of you know my mom Teddi but for those that don’t, let me share some information about her.

She is selfless, caring, kind and compassionate. She is always helping others and volunteering her time to help the less fortunate. She doesn’t know a stranger and will talk to anyone and she has a heart of gold. She has had her fair share of struggles in life from losing my dad to her long list of past medical problems.

While she has been battling kidney issues for almost a year now and on dialysis, she started the conversation about a kidney transplant. During this time she went through an extensive health evaluation. After her evaluation we found out that she has an aortic aneurysm measuring 7.5 x7.8 cm. This has been extremely alarming because of its size it could rupture and be fatal. After meeting with her cardiologist, having a CT, MRI and a cardiac cath she met with the surgeon. He said surgery needs to be scheduled sooner than later. He has some concerns due to the size of the aneurysm, the scar tissue from her previous heart surgery and her kidney function as well as platelet counts. He said she should expect about 2 weeks in the hospital post surgery and she will need home nurse visits and therapy. He said it will be a long road for recovery with the first 3 months being rough.

My hope is that this go fund me will help with medical bills, therapy services, nurse bills and anything else that could come up during this time. This will help ease her financial burden.

Teddi has always helped others and has never asked for anything in return. So I ask you to help my mom out in this difficult time for her.
