Stand by Vrendi in Her Cancer Fight

I am Vrendi Will, a 46 years old elementary school teacher. I was diagnosed with invasive ductal breast cancer which has also reached a few lymph nodes. It is estrogen and progesterone receptor positive, and I began chemotherapy the first week of January 2025.

After chemo ends, I will have a double mastectomy this summer and then radiation treatment in the fall. I will continue medication and eventually have a final closure surgery next spring or summer.

My husband, Bobby Woodruff, is also a public high school educator and must take time off to get me to and from appointments and treatments. We have a long journey to travel, and am hoping for support to cover gas, hotels, medical bills, and lost income down the road once I have to take leave.

I expect nothing from anyone, but am deeply grateful for any assistance that may be lent.
