Stand by Your Tam(my)!

°Tammy’s long-term disability insurance has been terminated—with no warning—effective January 2, 2018.  

°As you may know, part of her recent struggle with fighting stage IV ovarian cancer included having her gallbladder removed a month ago, while still grappling with long-term, cognitive impairment and on-going fatigue from the after-effects of many months of chemotherapy.

°Tammy is in the process of fighting this unjust denial of her insurance benefits. This decision was wrongly  based on her insurance company’s in-house doctors' uninformed opinions, overriding her own doctors' judgments. This appeal process takes six months—minimum.

°For these next six months that she fights for re-instatement of her benefits, Tammy needs money on which to live and pay her health insurance.
