Stand for Shaun
Donation protected
Shaun Thurman was a police officer and Sergeant for Oakland Police Dept from 1985 to 2003.
After retirement, he continued his service by becoming a member of the Vintage LA Coppers and a volunteer for the Los Angeles Police Museum.
Shaun is an accomplished actor having been in, "Deadly Sins", "Shock", and "The Coroner: I Speak for the Dead", just to name a few.
He also has an aficionado of vintage police clothing, historian, and an extensive knowledge and love for 1940’s-1960’s classic cars.
Current situation:
In 2016, Shaun was diagnosed with lymphoma. But, always the warrior, he was able to beat it.
Unfortunately in late 2018, the cancer returned and this time as an inoperable mass in his upper chest. Being the fighter that he is, Shaun is undergoing chemotherapy in attempt to reduce the size of the mass in order to have it removed.
Shaun and his wife, Jenny recently purchased a new home. Due to his illness, Shaun is unable to work. With their mortgage and regular bills , the weight of keeping afloat while dealing with cancer is too much for anyone to bear. Shaun and Jenny could use a little help.
Your generous donation will help with Shaun's medical bills, mortgage, and day-to-day expenses.
We hope you help us Stand for Shaun.
Any amount is greatly appreciated; help is the reason for the season.
Thank you all for your support.
