Stand Up! Bowl

The first ever Pi Kappa Alpha “Stand Up!” Bowl will take place on Super Bowl Sunday February 3rd at water tower field. The event will be a 7v7 coed flag football tournament with the goal of raising money for the Stand Up For Kids Charitable Foundation. The Stand Up For Kids Foundation is one that helps under privileged and homeless youth across America. Stand Up For Kids’smission is to end the cycle of youth homelessness, one youth at a time. The organization mentors homeless youth, provides them with meals, housing, and aids them through other outreach programs. The event will charge $20 per player and all proceeds will go to the Stand Up For KidsFoundation. The tournament will be run by Pi Kappa Alpha Gamma Phi Fraternity, but will be made up of any student or student organization that would like to put forth a team/participate. The tournament will be a double elimination bracket and will be played under the WFU IM Football rule book. Each organization and can contribute as many teams as they wish. The winner of the tournament will have a percentage of the donations made in their honor. Please help us reach our goal of raising $3000 for the homeless youth. Any contribution helps.
 
 

More information about StandUp For Kids: We empower youths who are homeless through counseling, education, food packages, clothing, hygiene products, new shoes, and continuous caring. We have 48 hour window to save a youth from drugs and human traffickers.
