An election winning Stand up for Labour tour

Help Stand up for Labour put on a comedy/variety tour to mobilise and engage Labour Party supporters across the country.

With a General Election imminent, we will provide an impetus for local campaigns through inspiring and unifying shows. Our shows are not only entertaining and full of laughter, but we reward new and long-standing members for their hard work and create a heartwarming spirit of camaraderie.
 
The more money that is raised, the more shows we will be able to put on.

What the funds are for
All the performers are paid and we also need to cover their expenses (travel and accommodation, where necessary). We will also need funds for equipment (PA/lights/storage), IT (Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp)and promotion (posters/flyers/printed tickets/social media advertising).

Who we are
Stand up for Labour was set up by Labour activist Crispin Flintoff in 2012 and he has now organised over 250 shows across the country. His work with the #JC4PM tour helped to mobilise people behind Jeremy Corbyn after he was elected Labour leader in 2015 and was a vital tool not only in the leadership elections but in the 2017 General Election. He receives no money from the Labour Party (despite several appeals for support).

Once the tour is up and running, Crispin will withdraw the funds from the crowdfunder to cover the running costs outlined above.

The plan is to start the tour in October and the following CLPs have already asked us to come to them:
