I’m taking my chances creating this campaign. I know she’d try to slap me if she could, but I’m too far away & I’m also too tall. I’m reaching out today to ask for some help for our friend Maya Manion. If you know Maya, you know she’s a rock star. You know she’s an amazing Mother and an extremely hard working woman. You know she is probably your most hilarious friend. You know she’s well on her way to being a household name in stand-up. You probably also know that she has just lost her Mother, my friend Sarah Morrison. This, on the heels of her beloved father’s death only a year ago. It’s just a heart wrenching situation. In typical Maya fashion…she’s working and trying to hold it together. I just want her to have some help. Some pressure lifted so perhaps she can grieve, or spend time with her kids, or just not have to think about the electric bill for a while. Thank you for anything you could offer.
