Integrity Virtue and Love

My name is Makena and I write this with my two sisters Maile and Madee and our little brother Sands. We are writing this testimony to start a gofundme to help my dad, Robert Dougherty. My dad stood up for a student. My dad stood up for what a student knew was wrong and the student wanted it reported. It seemed so simple though it turned out not to be. My dad stood up for principles that a school is built on and it’s mission statement. He was wrongfully fired 2 months ago for standing up for what students, parents, himself, his family and many others knew was right, like a whistleblower. My mom and dad are some of the strongest and bravest people we know. They believe in doing the right thing and helping others in need no matter what. We know we will get through this as a family and are so grateful for all the support we've had since March 2019. Please help my dad and mom continue to stand up for what’s right. To fight the fight. We believe in truth, honor, respect, and integrity. That is how our parents raised us. We thank you for taking the time to read this and we thank you for any support you send our way.
