Stand Up To Cancer: Alhambra High School NHS Fundraiser

Cancer is the 2nd leading cause of death worldwide. But it doesn't have to be.

There is a 40.5% probability that a person will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. We're here to change that.

More than 40% of all cancers could be prevented. But we need your help.

National Honor Society (NHS) at Alhambra High School has launched this fundraiser as a tribute to lost loved ones and the hundreds of millions of others who have lost their battles with cancer as well. All proceeds will be sent straight to the nonprofit organization, "Stand Up To Cancer." This organization aims to reduce all cancer deaths by 25% in 5 years and 50% in 10 years through a calculated combination of cutting edge research and early detection screening technology.

Together, we can make sure the next generation lives in a world where cancer is no longer a death sentence.
