Over 2 million beekeepers are at risk of disappearing, with a global loss estimated at $77 billion. (The total global value is $577 billion - Source FAO)

This won’t affect large corporations but millions of small economies and independent people who protect biodiversity and food security.

Yet, we remain in the dark. Environmental communication is increasingly controlled by large corporations and media, distorting the debate with greenwashing strategies and obscuring real priorities.

We are a collective of award-winning filmmakers, representing all continents, with years of experience, united for one mission: to maintain an independent and authentic voice.

Together with Apimondia, the oldest and largest International Federation of Beekeepers’ Associations, founded in 1895 and active worldwide, we aim to create a global series of documentaries about beekeeping.

With the Buzz of Transformation project, we will travel the world to tell 24 extraordinary stories, illuminated by the power of bees and the human will to do good.

The first is about Aisha, a Masai woman who, with dedication and her deep connection to bees, supports her small community, turning every day into an act of hope and renewal.

We have 42 days to finalize the budget and begin.

With €50,000 already invested, we need €40,000 to start filming before the rainy season, remain independent, complete the production, and present a powerful first story in Addis Ababa, together with Apimondia, during FAO’s World Bee Day.
