Stand with Alisha in Her Fight Against Leukemia
Donation protected
On behalf of my siblings and myself, we like to respectfully request some assistance for our single mother, Alisha.
She was admitted to the hospital on March 25th and was subsequently transferred to another facility two hours away for specialized treatments from March 26th to May 6th. She has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Despite her condition, she maintains her usual high spirits.
Due to her medical appointments, we have had to travel frequently, sometimes once or twice a week, covering a distance of 125 miles one way. As of June 24th, she has been readmitted to the hospital to begin her third round of chemotherapy.
As you can imagine, managing a household comes with various expenses and needs. With the primary breadwinner currently unable to work, our family is facing financial difficulties. We range in age from 19, 18, 14, and 7.
We kindly ask for your support, whether it be through sharing our story, keeping us in your thoughts and prayers, or providing any form of assistance you can offer.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
From Alisha: Thank you for taking the time to read, I'm fighting for my children, trying to keep things as normal as possible with me not being home. Treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukemia is not available in my home state, so the two hour drive is my only option for treatment. The goal is transplant, I have a donor ready. We just have to get through treatments first.
