Stand with Amber Evans' Family in Crisis

Hello, my name is Camby Alton, and I am reaching out on behalf of our stepsister/sister, Amber LaCoste Evans, her husband Mike Evans, and their children. Unfortunately, they recently lost their home in a devastating house fire on Thursday night, May 9th. The fire resulted in a total loss of their residence. Currently, they have been temporarily accommodated at the Marriott hotel in Vincennes. However, the duration of their stay there is uncertain as further arrangements are being made. It is possible that they may need to stay at the hotel for several months due to the extent of the damage.

As a family of four, space is limited for them at the hotel, and they are in need of support during this challenging time. The community has already shown great generosity when Lincoln High School shared their story on Facebook, highlighting the urgent need for clothing for their special needs children, as well as essential items for Amber & Mike. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Lincoln High School and all generous donors who have already contributed to help during this challenging time. Your kindness and support mean the world to us.

Our family has been deeply touched by the recent fire incident, and we are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and assistance from our community. We are immensely grateful for every donation received so far.

As we navigate through this difficult period, it has become evident that one of the most pressing needs is financial support along with gift cards or certificates for food. The cost of groceries can quickly add up, especially for a family of four facing unexpected circumstances.
