Stand with Anthony in His Battle for Health and Home

Hello my name is Anthony Midyette (Tony/Big Geek/Smokey) I am a Disabled Air Force Veteran and it is with a broken spirit, and broken heart, that I am having to do this...again, as our first attempt was not succesful. As many of you know, I have been suffering from a "few" ailments, including 3 auto-immune diesease, which include Diabetes, GErD, IBS both types, and mesothelioma (asbesteos poisoning)... I have now been on a liquid diet for the past 9 months, (I do eat small meals from time to time if my body allows), and have lost 100+ lbs... the Dr's are doing evertything they can to resolve the issues and prolong my life. I also found out recently that I am in jepordy of loosing my right foot, as I have a diabetic foot wound on my right foot and its getting worse. My wife and I bought a home located in Holiday Villages, PointBlank, TX, for the first time in, June 2023... and strange things started happening, floor lifting, towel racks falling, our master bedroom walk in closet rack and shelfs fell on Heather. I tripped on a flooring piece and broke my toe the very next day... and then the leaks in my roof, resulting in waterfalls coming down my walls and from the ceilings... After I had a home inspection done in Nov, my "Brand New Build" (built in 2022) was determed to have 59 pages of deficencies, and not even built to code... this lead to 4 minor cardiac events putting me into the emergency room on several different occasions... During the course of all of this, we found out that there was an initial offer on the house, but they backed out due to failed inspection(s). One being the intitial inspection and the other being a follow up inspection after the builders said they had "fixed" the issues, which were simply not done/true. We have recieved copies of all inspections from the previous offer. On our disclosure the sellers/builders said they had nothing to disclose about the house and that had never seen an inspection of the house in 4 years, again lying. They have been uncooperative in trying to resolve these issues that range from; no insulation in the roof or under the house, improper flooring (just plywood, no cement board or any sealing/tar paper etc) no vents in the roof, no sealing on windows (black mold in window seals) no sealant on the siding, old appliances (they passed off as new) improper installation of ducts, water pipes not being wrapped at all, not to mention they painted over cracks and water damage (black mold is present in the ceiling and in some of the interior wall), and the house is now literraly, sliding into the rivene located behind my house. We are on a set income and are in desperate need of assistance. I have tried to hire The MosterLaw Firm, and the CEO Charles Moster called me himself, and said we need to make sure this not only gets taken care of, but never happens to an unsuspecting house buyer in the future. His retainer is 3000, which me and wife simply dont have. We have also talked to several other law firms and their retainers were 4000-6000 . To make matters worse Heather had to quit her job in order to be at home with me incase of another heart attack or feinting spell, and we have been unable to pay our mortgage for the last 6 months. I am working with the lending company to help modify our loan, and have been for the last 4 months. We are running out of time as the 1 year mark is up in June, and it is April all ready. I have reached out to 2 different news outlets and to the Congressman of our district, here in Texas, as well (still awaiting a response). I am asking for help because this house and land was to be my legacy for my wife and her 3 children and 3 grandchildren... if you can help, thank you in advance, even if you just share this for us ... we are in need of 3000-6500 dollars (for other filing costs and attorney fees) and I have no where left to turn.
