Stand with Anthony Moccia: Beat Cancer Again

Most of you reading this will know who Anthony Moccia is, but for those who don’t know him, we can promise you that he is one of the most genuine and caring people you will ever meet. He’s one of the good ones. He’s one of those guys who would give you the shirt off his back, even for a complete stranger.

As a teenager, Anthony was always known to wear his Superman t-shirt, even under his soccer jersey or skin-tight Nordic ski race suit. Right now, Anthony is truly our Superman and is fighting a tough battle ahead. This isn’t Anthony’s first battle with cancer. Like a true superhero, he’s already beaten it once before, about 4 years ago. Life’s decided to throw him a second curveball of a completely different type of cancer… Stage four lung cancer, which has already spread into his bones and brain. As Anthony said to me, “Is this really happening again? Are we really doing this again?” Unfortunately, as life will have it, it’s for real, and he’s really doing it… again.

Anthony has raised thousands upon thousands of dollars for those in need through his Rasputitsa bike races that he coordinates each year along with his good friend Heidi. Right now, it is time for us to come together and give back to Anthony, now more than ever before. Even Superman needs to lean on his loved ones, and right now we need to show Anthony that we’ve got him.
