Stand with Deputy Apodaca and his Family in Their Grief

My coworker, Wake County Sheriffs Office, Deputy Jose Apodaca, and his wife lost their precious 2 year old unexpectedly Tuesday morning, June 25th, 2024. As you can imagine this is any parent’s worst nightmare.

Jose and Clarissa brought their beautiful baby boy, Jose Jr, into this world on May 27th, 2022. Tragically Jose Jr, passed away after a drowning incident in Wake County.

A parent can never plan for the loss of a child, and I can’t even imagine the pain they are in. I am asking for donations to help this loving family with funeral expenses and to help them manage their expenses over the next few months so they can stay home as they grieve the loss of their son.

I do not want them to have to worry about anything other than grieving together and healing their hearts. Jose and Clarissa are amazing loving parents who work really hard.

While we cannot take away their pain, we can help this young, loving family with the many financial burdens they now face. Please consider donating as they lay their son to rest and take the time away from work to grieve and be with one another and their families.
