Support Becky’s Brave Battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer

Becky (Yering) Fraser, a true ray of light in everyone she know’s world, is in need of our support.

Becky has been a warrior for the past 2.5 years since being diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer in December 2021. Becky has fought so hard, all while still working full time while undergoing treatment, up until April 2024. Becky has since had a major surgery and many recent setbacks, including blood clots, infections, multiple strokes, a decline in her respiratory status and progression of her cancer, which has majorly affected her liver function. It is uncertain if Becky’s body will be strong enough to have any further chemo.

Becky has been at Yale for three weeks now and is currently in the ICU. In the days ahead, Becky’s family will continue to come together to make decisions regarding the next steps of this journey and what is in her best interest.

Becky’s main focus and motivation to continue to work and fight since day one has been her kids, Alex, Izzi and Blake. They are her pride and joy and it’s time to come together as a community to support them. Going from a two-income household to a one-income household is a challenge her family now faces, as Becky is no longer able to work. Becky’s amazing husband Matt continues to work day in and day out running the family lawn care business, all while going back and forth to New Haven to be with Becky.

Although they have not asked for help at all during this very challenging journey, so many people have reached out to her family and friends to see if they can help. The best thing we can do is come together to support them financially, so their main focus can be on being with their mom and wife, rather than worrying about how they will pay for college, fill their gas tanks, pay their bills, stock the fridge, etc. This help would mean the world to them.
