Stand with Bella in her Courageous Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
Through the wonderful world of softball, we met momma Colleen and her beautiful family. She has THE biggest heart and is literally living out James 1:27 "Pure & genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans & widows in their distress..." She has taken in 6 foster children, 5 of them siblings rescued from a horrific situation and needing a loving and safe home. Colleen took in the 5 siblings, even with one of the twins being medically fragile and prone to complications and hospital stays. She took it all on, so they could all stay together as a family. That was already hard enough, but then their world was turned upside down...

"Saturday, January 4th I took Bella into the ER because I was sure she had the flu. She did NOT have the flu, rather she had RSV. With the positive RSV diagnosis and clear dehydration it was decided that Bella will spend the night at Rainbows UH.

There was a BAD snow storm that day/evening and a multiple array of events were causing there to be a long delay in transporting Bella. In a very short time, we will know this was God’s doing.
While we were waiting, Bella went unresponsive. The medical staff immediately flew into action. Rushing Bella away from us.
When the main doctor came back to our room, he said that Bella had a bad brain bleed, caused by a tumor rupturing. They were trying to get Bella to Rainbows UH immediately, she would need a life saving surgery.

Bella’s surgery was roughly 6 hours. God strategically aligned it so that the BEST ADULT neurosurgeon was on call that night. By this time it was around 2am. They removed a large portion of Bella’s skull to allow the swelling to heal. She was put in a medical coma and on a ventilator at this point.

The preliminary biopsy results show that Bella does have what is showing to be an aggressive Glioma. We do not know the specific type of Glioma yet.

They were able to remove the tumor, which took up the whole right frontal lobe. But because of what we already know about her Glioma they are going to put the skull back on and begin radiation/chemo immediately.
Bella is set for the skull replacement surgery Tuesday, January 14th.
Cancer "

Colleen is a very busy momma who needs her community family to rally around her, Bella, and her other children as they face a very scary and long road to recovery. We wanted to give people a way to help support her for gas, food, lodging during treatments, and other expenses, as she is spending a lot of time in Cleveland with Bella right now.

Please donate and also be praying over Bella and her family as she faces surgeries, chemo, radiation, and healing. We have the opportunity to also live out this Biblical instruction, by caring for the momma, who is caring for these children who needed more than a home--she gave them a family.
