Stand with Betty Ann in Her Health Battle

My name is Zac Middlebrooks, my mother Betty Ann Middlebrooks has now passed away unfortunately. She was finally diagnosed with ALS or better known as lou gehrigs disease. It started back in october 2023 . Her legs started to give out; making her use a cane, then to a walker, then to wheelchair, to the point she becane bed bound. I moved in with her since she was unable to work and needed help with getting around the house, going to the doctor appointments, etc. She was at Shelby Baptist Medical in Alabaster where they transferred her to UAB for 2 weeks. She was released to come home under hospice care on Sunday July 7, 2024. On July 9, 2024 She gained her angel wings. Medical bills and funeral home costs are still piling in.
