Stand With Brian in His Fight with Glioblastoma

Let's All Come Through For Brian!

If you're here on this page, you must have heard the terrible, devastating news about Brian Hunt. He has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, Glioma. There's no realistic treatment or cure. My name is Eric, and Brian is my dear friend and neighbor. We've been friends since our school days. Another friend is helping write this, and his name is Sean. We all go back a long way and had lots of good times in high school. Brians advice for me was, 'think of your future', which I remind him of to this day, and we'd always have a good laugh.

After high school, Brian joined the Air Force, and we all went our separate ways. Brian went on to become a Gulf War veteran. How could you not admire someone that goes off to serve his country? Hopefully, this write-up reaches some of his military friends. It takes guts to leave your hometown and head to boot camp. But Brian was excited for it.

Then Terri came into his life. What a great couple. They just fit each other perfectly. Not sure the year, but Brian and our high school track star, Terri, got married. They went on to have 3 kids, Angie, Brian Jr, and Thomas.

About 10 years ago, Sean told me that Brian moved to Berlin, NY. I said 'what?' that's the town right next to me. So I looked him up. And dang! He wasn't in Berlin, he was right next to me in Cherry Plain, NY. He described where he lived, and I said 'that's impossible, that land is uninhabitable'. But that land was exactly where he moved. Way up a state land 'trail' over a mile long, totally off-grid! Now that's one of the most gutsy moves I've ever seen anyone do. But that was Brian. He does it his way. I've never seen a tougher dude than Brian.

I really admire Brian for serving his country. And for doing things his way. And always working hard to pull his weight, and raise his family. And living away from everyone way out in the woods off-grid is just awesome to me.

And now, after all the home building and road improvements he had been doing has come to an end.

He's now in the hospital with glioblastoma, which is taking such a great person down. Folks, there is no way out of this. Right now he needs all the prayers he can get. For him, and his family. For his wife, Terri, and his kids, Angie, Brian Jr, and Thomas. For his brother and sisters, and his mom and dad. And all his aunts and uncles, and I know he has 100's of friends.

He needs us all now. I know Brian probably wouldn't ask for help for himself, he's too modest and proud. But he needs funds. You all know this hospital stuff is not cheap. And the care he needs isn't either. Terri will not be able to work like she usually does, and young Thomas can't run a household by himself. It's going to be tough.

So if everyone that reads this, can spare anything, everything will help. Brian is the kind of guy that would 'take the shirt off his back' for you. Him and Terri are the best neighbors I could ever have. He's tough on the outside, but he always thinks of others, and he's one of the finest kind I know.

Brian's life has been a testament to service and sacrifice, and now it's our turn to support him. By coming together as a community, we can show our gratitude for his service and provide the assistance his family needs. Your kindness and generosity will not only help ease the financial burden but also offer emotional support, knowing that they are not alone in this fight.
We ask you to join us in supporting Brian and his family by making a donation and sharing this campaign with others who may want to help. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in Brian's life and honor the legacy of a true hero. Thank you for your compassion and support.

Check back here, as I plan on giving updates to the page.
This is a small summary of my Brian story. I'd be interested to hear your Brian story.
