Stand with Candace in Her Healing Journey

Hi there! My name is Candace! I had surgery on the 23rd of May to repair my SI joints and had 6 screws put in my hips. Unfortunately early morning on June 3rd, I fell and broke my hip right next to my new hardware. Thankfully they didn’t have to redo my surgery or do an additional surgery but I am currently basically bed bound. I can walk a little with my walker but for the most part they don’t want me putting a lot of weight on it in order for it to heal properly. So unfortunately that means I cannot work. I manage a locally owned hardware store and my boss has been wonderful about making sure the store is covered while I’m out, but that also means I have no money coming in. But the bills don’t stop. I know I’ll be out of work for a while so I’m worried about things getting behind. I’m currently trying to find something I can do from home that will make money but it’s not an easy thing to find. I don’t like asking for help ever (you can ask any of my friends or family), but I’m having to put my pride to the side on this.
