Share a Hand Up with Cindi in Her Fight Against Cancer

Three years ago, when I started working at The Brownwood Spa, I was warmly welcomed by a fellow Lake County, Fl native, Cindi who worked as our spa attendant. I also gained an irreplaceable friend! She quickly gained my love and respect, not just because it was nice to help from a hardworking gal with all the answers, but because of the genuine love that she put into life and the people that surrounded her. She lent listening ears, words of comfort and wisdom, a shoulder to cry on, a cup of her special tea the *moment I mentioned a tickle in my throat, a ride when I misplaced my keys, an infectious smile, innovative infused water, irreplaceable warmth our clients loved and so much more!

Cindi was diagnosed with stage 3 Cervical Cancer in March. So far, she's undergone several weeks of lengthy iron infusions, and her first two weeks of chemotherapy. She's' been told the mass is too large for removal, so radiation is the next step in defeating this. This devastating news comes with great, and unknown stress and expenses as she undergoes recommended treatments and takes time off to rest and heal. Having to scale back on work prior has left her uninsured. Please considering sharing your support and a hand up with Cindi.

I've always been able to envision Cindi achieving all of her goals like eventually becoming a massage therapist. I love learning about what it was like for her growing up in a Haitian household, and her dedication to helping her older and younger family members has taught me a lot! She has a brilliant mind, beautiful soul, and has a bright future ahead.
