Stand with Dalilah in Her Healing Journey

I never thought I’d have to utilize this platform in this way. I want to thank every person that takes the time to read this. Our 5-year-old daughter Dalilah was involved in a 6-car accident on Wednesday (6/19) night Thursday morning, on HWY 395 at a construction site.

They were at a dead stop in-line waiting for traffic to proceed forward, at which point a semi-truck failed to stop hitting the vehicle twice on the rear passenger side, pinning my daughter between the rear seat and the front seat causing serious injuries. She had a fractured skull, she has already undergone surgery for a small brain bleed, and a fractured femur. She has 3 titanium plates with 16 screws holding the fracture in place in her head. She was unconscious when she was removed from the vehicle and was airlifted from Adelanto to Loma Linda Children’s Hospital, where she is still unconscious, on breathing support and is still in critical but stable condition.

I’m wanting this to spread out so that way the driver may be held accountable for his negligence I myself being a Class A truck driver and understanding the responsibilities that we hold while operating these heavy-duty vehicles across the country he neglected to hold the same responsibilities. Our daughter was to start Kindergarten this year as well as sports, her goals have been impacted and delayed severely. Dalilah is a charismatic girl with a smile to impact anyone around her. Her happiness was contagious and she always smiled and went above and beyond to make every day a memorable one.

We’re not asking for only monetary support during this time, if you can keep us in your prayers, send a teddy bear or some snacks. No parent or family is prepared for something like this. Anything will be much appreciated. We are currently at the Loma Linda Children’s Hospital, we will be here for at least 2 weeks and upon release we will have to undergo neuro treatment for her as well as physical therapy.
