Stand with Dan: Facing Cancer Together

Dear Friends, Family, Co-workers, and Kind-hearted Supporters,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart but hopeful spirit to ask for your support for our dear friend Dan Wagstaff, who has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer.

Ahh, Dan! To know him is to love him. For those who know Dan, you know he is a man of iron—a hard worker who dedicates endless hours, often stretching himself thin. Yet, you will never see him without a smile. Even as he battled discomfort and pain before his diagnosis, he remained the same positive, resilient Dan we all admire. While we are heartbroken, we are grateful to finally have answers.

Dan’s world has been turned upside down. He is an incredible husband, friend, father, and grandfather—a man deeply devoted to God. He is a role model to his grandchildren, never missing a baseball game or an award ceremony. He’s the dad you read about in stories and the friend you always wish you had—someone who would give you the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his wallet.

For the first time in his life, Dan will need to slow down and take the time to focus on his recovery. This may be one of the most difficult challenges for him, as he’s always been the one to care for others. Now, it’s our turn to care for him.
