Stand with Dusty Firth in His Healing Journey
Donation protected
Dusty Firth was t-boned while riding his motorcycle on May 24. His helmet & kevlar jacket saved his life, but he still has extensive injuries that will take a long time to heal. He fractured his left femur, all of the ribs on his left side; his left shoulder is fractured in a couple of places, his left clavicle is broken, his right index finger was openly dislocated; he has small brain bleed, a laceration on his spleen, and a hole in his lung.
He has had surgery on his femur and a permanent rod was placed in his leg. He will be having surgery on his ribs in order for a permanent plate to help keep the ribs in place. The doctors are hopeful his shoulder will heal on its own. He will be moved to a rehab center after the surgery on his ribs.
Dusty thrives on being active. He loves the outdoors and doing various activities with his family. He is always up for an adventure, and he’s constantly helping those around him. His family is his world, and he loves every minute he spends with his kids. He is honest and dependable, and one of the hardest workers around. He doesn’t hesitate to help whenever & however he can. Now he needs your help.
Dusty is awake and alert, and he’s been able to stand up. His pain is lessening, as long as he doesn’t have to move too much. He is looking at months of recovery time, including large hospital bills and many doctor and physical therapy visits.
Because he won’t be able to go back to work for some time, we are asking for your help. Any help is deeply appreciated, even if all you can do you is share this and include his family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you!!
