Stand with Ean: Aid His Recovery Journey
Donation protected
On Friday afternoon my nephew Ean and his Best Friend Lucas were in a car accident. They were driving west on route 30 when another person decided to run a red light and cause a collision. The accident was no fault of their own. The car was totaled and unfortunately Ean suffered injuries that are going to take a lot of time to recover from.
In short Eans back was broken in the collision. He is currently in the hospital and the future of where he is going to end up, whether it be a rehabilitation facility or home is currently unclear.
With Ean being just a kid his mom and dad have been with him all day every day so he doesn’t have to be alone. Unfortunately gas, food, travel to and from the hospital, and bills from not being able to work all add up and they could really use help right now.
The overwhelming sense of sadness that we feel as a family knowing the battle that Ean has ahead of him and the questions we have of his future, is matched with an overwhelming sense of gratitude that he made it out of that accident alive regardless of the injuries that he did sustain.
I’m trying to raise enough money that his mom and dad are able to be with him whenever he is needed and do not have to worry about the financial burden of this whole situation. His dad is also going to have to make necessary changes within his home to accommodate the things Ean will need for his comfort and recovery.
Although it will take quite some time for Ean to hopefully recover fully, we want to make things as normal as possible for him during this time.
I have witnessed communities everywhere pull together to help one of their own and I’m hopeful that maybe we can pull together to help Ean. He is the sweetest kid who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone.
Sadly due to the accident Ean wasn’t able to have his graduation party and we celebrated the best we could in the hospital. We are all pulling together to try to make him feel as normal as possible. He is so thankful for everything everyone has done so far and will do in the future.
If you can’t donate I would appreciate if you can share this so maybe someone else can. They really need all the help they can get right now. To those who can donate I want to thank you in advance it really means the world to all of us.
