Stand with Elkhorn, NE Bodady Family in Tornado Aftermath

Hello Everyone. We need your help.

Please help our dear friend and the Bodady family in Elkhorn, Nebraska. Today, a devastating tornado tore through their neighborhood, leaving their home severely damaged and unlivable. While a photo might show a wall standing, the reality is much grimmer—extensive water and mud damage have compromised the very structure of their home and making it inhabitable.

Our friends held their children, Stone and Arrow, close as the tornado-ravaged half of their house. They emerged to find their community in ruins, a sight that words can hardly describe. Tonight, as they face the shock and displacement, the road ahead is uncertain and daunting.

From my own experience from losing our home in the Boulder Marshall fires, I know the visible damage is just the tip of the iceberg. The emotional and financial toll of such disasters is overwhelming and enduring. Insurance, while helpful, falls significantly short of covering the full scope of losses, especially when it comes to rebuilding a home and replacing cherished possessions and the trauma the children have experienced.

Today, I am reaching out to ask for your support to help this family rebuild their lives. Any contribution will go directly towards helping them secure a safe living situation, replace lost items, and navigate the long recovery process ahead.
