Stand with Erik in His Hospice Journey

Hello to our Kansas City community and fellow music lovers…..it is with a very broken heart that we are asking for your help for our long term beloved sound engineer, Erik. If you have ever been to The Ship, you have seen him behind the sound board, running all the shows, making them sound fantastic. He has been essential in making every night there fun with his skills, and genuine love for music. Erik was recently hospitalized and diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that has metastasized to his brain. He is only 43 years old. Erik has chosen not to receive treatment as the oncologists have told us that it would not be curative only prolonging. He will be entering hospice care on Wednesday. We are humbly asking for support from our community to help offset the medical costs his sister, Mindy Wright, and brother Tyler Pitcock, have incurred.
