Update on Gabriel’s Battle with Stage 4 Melanoma

We wanted to provide an important update on our beloved Gabriel, one of the founding employees of Priority One Sound, Inc., who has been battling stage 4 melanoma. Your outpouring of love, support, and generosity has meant the world to him, and we wanted to keep you informed on his progress.

Unfortunately, Gabriel's recent PET scan has revealed two new masses: one in the lymph node of his right lung and another in the abdominal lymph node. Despite this difficult news, Gabriel continues to face his diagnosis with incredible strength and positivity.

Tomorrow, he will begin another round of chemotherapy. The doctors have also scheduled surgery for November 11th, during which they will remove part of the mass to send to the lab to create his good cells. This is a crucial step in his treatment, aimed at building up his immune system to fight the cancer.

Gabriel will be undergoing this surgery as an outpatient, with the possibility of staying overnight. Once the good cells are prepared, he will need to undergo a two-week hospital stay for the infusion procedure. In preparation, he has completed lab work to monitor his sodium levels and thyroid function, and he will see his doctor again in three weeks to evaluate his response to the chemotherapy. The doctor is also considering a few more rounds of chemo before the next procedure.

As Gabriel continues this brave fight, the medical bills and personal expenses keep growing. He is doing everything he can to stay strong for himself and his 6-year-old daughter, but the financial burden is immense.
