Stand with Greg Sitler in His Cancer Fight

***UPDATE*** We are very sad to report that Greg passed away this morning shortly after 3:00 am. He was with his beautiful wife when he took his last breath. If you can donate to his funeral expenses, anything will help. Thank you all for your generosity through this very difficult time.

UPDATE: Greg had been in the hospital for several days and due to the enormous scar tissue causing a blocked PEG tube along with the recent cancer diagnosis and recently discovered organ failure with his kidneys and liver, Greg was transported home via ambulance to receive end-of-life care by Hospice.

I would like to thank the Hospice workers in advance for their angelic actions with their care.

On behalf of the Dart Container family, we would like to raise some money for our dear friend and co-worker Greg Sitler. Unfortunately, he has been extremely sick and hospitalized with Colitis that was just diagnosed as colon cancer at the very young age of 53. This illness has taken a huge financial toll on his family. Greg is an ex service member serving in the United States Navy as a structural mechanic in hydraulics for 10 years. Greg met the love of his life Kris and they married in 2009 and between them they have 7 children. Greg has been dedicated employee of Dart Container for over 20 years. Greg first went into the hospital just before Christmas and has had 2 very brief stays at home - otherwise he has been stationary in the hospital which is not only tolling on him but his family. His wife Kris is trying her best to "hold down the fort" and going to work as much as she can to keep the "boat afloat". Anything you can contribute will be greatly appreciated to help with medical expenses with this grueling fight for his life.
