Help Bring Jahed Home: Fighting Injustice and Abuse

Dear Supporters,

Our beloved Jahed was taken from us under heartbreaking circumstances just before his first birthday, and since then, his life has been fraught with unimaginable challenges. Despite following medical advice during the pandemic, Jahed was placed in foster care due to false reports from DFCS. In his foster home, he has faced abuse and been denied the right to learn his languages and practice his religion.

By the age of two, Jahed bravely vocalized the abuse he was suffering at the hands of his foster parent and other children in the home. Despite our desperate pleas to the courts and DFCS for his removal and placement with family, our cries have been ignored, and the abuse has continued. A CPS case was even opened last January regarding sexual abuse in the foster home, and yet, Jahed remained in danger.

Recently, another criminal investigation was launched due to further physical abuse. DFCS has now moved him without informing us of his whereabouts and is petitioning for his adoption, despite promising his return once we completed the case plan—a promise they have continually undermined.

We urgently need a lawyer to fight these injustices and bring Jahed back to the safety and love of his family.
