Stand with James: Fight Cancer and Financial Strain

My name is James, and I am a working artist and student currently undergoing chemotherapy for testicular cancer after an emergency surgery in January to remove my tumor.

While this has been one of the most unreal and scary times in my life, I am keeping my head up! Right now, positivity is what's moving me forward. However, my insurance company is doing everything it can to take that positivity away... I had been paying for everything out of pocket while waiting (for two months) for a reimbursement from my insurance, only to find out in February that they decided to cancel my policy due to a technicality in my medical report...

This now places $35,000 to $40,000 in medical expenses all on my family's shoulders during an already difficult time for us... I am at risk of filing for personal bankruptcy, and my parents are considering selling their dream home my dad worked so hard for, just to cover the costs... People are always talking about how detrimental stress can be to your health, but I don't know how to avoid this stress!
