Stand with Jay Paul Molinere, an Active Father

As I sit here and reflect on what happened today with my son I can’t help but bring a little of it to light. Today my son- an ACTIVE FATHER was sentenced to 67 days in jail. He was held in contempt because he couldn’t come up with the money they were wanting from him. (He paid what he could afford)

They did not want to hear about the amount of time he spent with his children, the sporting events he’s brought them to, the amount of money he spent on their travel ball/recreational supplies, school expenses, and the fact that he’s just that — AN ACTIVE FATHER!

I had to watch my son be handcuffed in the court room and taken to jail and his words to me were, “Make sure my babies are good and please tell them I love them.” Well one thing I know is they don’t ever have to worry about that! Their daddy loves them with everything in him. But money and greed has now taken him away from his children for the next 2 months.

Today I watched our court system fail an active father, a trying father, an involved father. I also watched a bitter momma push for this to happen alongside her father. The selfishness to not even care about your children’s mental and emotional well-being is beyond me.

If you are still reading at this point all I ask is that you pray for my son and his children. And pray for ACTIVE FATHERS being failed by the system.
